In recent times, the popularity of Ed Hardy shirts has increased. This is at least in part due to their intense colour and tatoo motif. It’s easy to change from a boring nine-to-fiver to a rock and roll star by throwing on an Ed Hardy Shirt.
If you’re looking at buying an Ed Hardy shirt, you need to be aware that there are a number of fakes on the market. In a brick and mortar store, this is relatively easy to pick up - the fabric is lower quality as is the design.

So how do you tell a fake shirt from the real thing when buying online? This is difficult, and the main way to ensure that you are not buying a fake is to consider the quality and reputation of the vendor. If buying from ebay, consider the reputation of the vendor. If buying from a website, ask them if the merchandise is authentic. Ask them for some guarantee. Another telltale sign is the price. If the item looks to cheap to be authentic, it’s probably a fake. When buying an Ed Hardy shirt, you get what you pay for. The fakes generally fade quickly, and won’t last.

There has recently been a new range of Ed Hardy shirts released - these are the designs that I think work the best.

‘Red Cross Fun’ t shirt - A red cross nurse and a heart. Available background is red. Unlikely to be a fake because this print is brand new.

‘King Skull’ t shirt - A green skull, crown and wings. A long sleeve t shirt in charcoal. Sales of this one have been huge and it will continue to be a hot item as we head up to Christmas.

‘EH Eagle’ t shirt - An eagle, skull with the Ed Hardy banner. Rose edging. The backgrounds available are black or army green / grey.

‘Devil Pin Up’ t shirt - A pin up girl, with a heart and dagger. It’s available on black.

Men’s ‘Death or Glory Platinum’ Long Sleeved T-Shirt - This is my favorite. Skull and a dagger in front, and a banner reading ‘death or glory’. The background has some nice detailing in the design. Available in charcoal or chocolate.

Regardless of whether the shirt is for you or someone else, if you choose one of the Ed Hardy designs above they will be sure to enhance your rock and roll credibility.
